31 October, last day to submit your TFG or TFM for the IoT Chair awards!

Four prizes of between 2,000 and 2,500 euros will be awarded.

The call for applications for the first edition of the Chair of the Internet of Things awards is open until 31 October 2022. 

A total of four awards will be awarded in this 1st edition. Two for the best TFG with a financial award of €2,000 each. And two for the best TFM with a financial award of €2,500 each.

Any student from any branch of engineering at the University of Seville can submit their TFG or TFM. It applies to projects submitted to the university before 30 September 2022. The deadline for submitting applications is 31 October 2022.

The TFG and TFM presented must be based on a topic related to the Internet of Things. Those based on intelligent energy management or electromobility applications being positively valued. The topics considered for the presentation of candidatures are divided into two categories: hardware and embedded firmware. The design of antennas for embedded equipment, the design of low-power IoT equipment and protocols for remote reading of sensors are some of the topics covered by these awards.

The chair is promoted by the University of Seville and the technology-based company WoodSwallow. It aims to promote teaching and research activities related to IoT and smart energy management.
